Gosh, Rikku was bored. Really. You could tell by the way she was lounging on her bed, wearing something comfortable and reading a magazine.

Reno had made his detour, grabbed himself a quick shower handwavily or something, and tossed on his pants.

Which, really, were all he needed, dammit. A week with feathers kind of made his skin itch now that they were gone.

And now he was on his way back to Rikku's room. Because she'd invited him by. And now that he didn't smell like the stables anymore, he was all too happy to pay her the visit.

Rikku was going to wait a few seconds. Because she was evil.

"Who is it?" she called, flipping another page in her magazine.

"Mariachi telegram," Reno replied through the door. "Had a sombrero, but left it behind. You mind if I deliver the message without it?"

He'd managed to spend a week as a freaking chicken. He wasn't entirely all-there in the head, just yet.

It wasn't. She'd considered locking it, but decided against it. What if he hadn't brought lockpicks? Then he'd have to go back to his room, and who needed that kind of delay?
