Lulu walked into the hut, smiling softly. "Petey seems in fine form," she said, after observing for a moment.

Rikku laughed. "I think Wakka spoils him," she said.

She approved. Peteys should be spoiled. It was good for them. They liked it.

"So ... you don't think she's gonna be mad, do you?"

"After all these years," Lulu said, "I'm still not entirely certain she has it in her. Still, even if she did, I don't think this would do it."

Rikku propped her chin up on one of her hands. "If you're willing to die for the world, then standing up and shouting people for it -- that's not asking so much, right?"

Except dying was easy. Staying alive, fighting Sin, that had been harder. But Yunie had managed that, too.
