I don't know what it is.

Last night I was somewhat in a state of victorious elation at the election of this next president. For some reason, today, by now that has nearly completely disappeared. What has replaced it is a strange foreboding feeling. I can't explain it. If I'm honest, I don't trust Barack Obama. I voted for him because he was the lesser evil, but with no ( Read more... )

He is the real deal. He is not lesser evil, he is not evil at all. He is not part of the illuminati and new world order.

He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and is a big supporter of Israel; which could be a very bad thing. Really, it's because he is so convincing that I distrust him. He's just too good to be true, so I tend to have doubts. And his demeanor has been markedly solemn, which makes me think he knows something we don't... I don't know. Like I said, it's only a feeling.

He does represent the next phase...that of peace, healing, ascension, and transition into the 4th and 5th dimensions.

I sure hope you're right. If you only knew what I believed though... I don't trust any political leader. You know the saying: power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely. I'm tired of placing my trust in ONE person.

I understand. Haha I think you have to be somewhat emotionless and very grounded to be able to be the President of the United States. Many enlightened beings act this way in a sense. Cool and calm on the outside, peacefully happy on the inside. I can assure you that he is not one with the illuminati, as my spirits friends have solidified this.

I do believe he represents and is the beginning of the next phase. He was the responsible choice, whatever happens.

Well, I guess that comes down to the next phase of what? I'm trying to think positively, but I'm just so used to our leaders not being worthy of my trust, with next to no exceptions short of Kucinich or Ron Paul or Nader. Taking a few steps back from it all, it does look like we're going in the right direction.

It may be that you are uncomfortable with the unknown. I don't know how America will be transformed, but I believe it will be. Obama has the intelligence and humanity to do it. He seems to value human beings, cares about human needs, and displays integrity. I really like Kucinich and Nader, too (am not familiar with Ron Paul). Obama's charisma could be a quality that stirs the complacent society into revolutionary action for good.

I felt exactly the same way, election night and the day after.
The president is just a pawn in the chessboard of politics, they'll figure out how to use him one way or another.
I guess we will see very soon, eh?
