Under the cut is the manuscript of my first sermon- well, my first sermon delivered in a church to a real congriagtion. People said that it was good, that it spoke to them, but the service started at 8:30 and ended at 9:25, so I probably need to add another page and a half to most of my sermons. The six page 14 point format will work for next

Hi! I hope things are treating you well up north. I enjoyed reading your sermon. I liked how you focused on the boy, it sends a good message. I also always like when pastors give "food for thought," it helps me remember what the sermon was about and makes me think about it all week. My home pastor once spoke on Grace saying "Grace is something we give even when others don't deserve it." I can't tell you what his sermon was about but I always remember those words when faced with situations where Grace is something I have a hard time giving. Good luck with the congregation. I'm sure they'll love you as much as we all do. My prayers are with you.
