Lately I've just felt intellectually isolated, the only person who has been able to challenge my intelligence is my English teacher. I just feel really sad knowing that there are so few people who can actually engage in an intelligent conversation. I mean, I like goofing off and having fun as much as anyone else does, but come on, jesus fucking

I dont know where to start, when just a few weeks ago, I was the one telling you to stop acting like a dumass..you shouldnt make anyone "dead" to you, just because they dont understand the importance of learning. Another thing, "ignorance", arnt you being ignorant just saying that? Then again, you make a good point. Some people really do need to shutup, and read something.

hm corey, feeling a little elite lately, huh?
you remind me of old businessmen in silverscreen flicks complaining as they take drags from their wooden pipes
with people it's hard to find a balance, usually the people i meet who can hold good conversations don't know how to have any fun, and like, turn their nose to the idea of ::gasp:: letting loose and acting silly for a bit. and then there are people who can't hold a conversation but they're characters in their own way and are fun to be around.
and i probably don't need to tell you that someone doesn't have to be carrying books in their purse to be intelligent
but yeah, i hope you can meet people who reach your expectations.
