I hate health insurance! For my insurance I'm paying $155/month. Then I went to see a doctor to write me a birth control prescription and the office visit copay was $50. The prescription copay was $20. And now I just got a letter saying I still owe the insurance company another $69! And I didn't even get an exam, just a prescription ( Read more... )

How about looking into the possibility of becoming a subsitute teacher. I am not sure of the requirements but I know people who did that for a while. I don't think they need to have an ed degree.

The job I currently have requires me to be there 20 minutes before most schools end so I didn't want to become a sub because I initially thought it would conflict with work. But my job is based out of an elementary school and my boss suggested becoming a sub there so next week I'm going to find out what that school district requires from substitutes. And if I meet those qualifications I'll get my name put on their sub list.
