I wouldn't say the pairing squicks me but yeah, I don't see the chemistry either.

I must have some deep-seated psychological issue, because even I'm not sure why it squicks me as much as it does, but I just get this visceral NOPE reaction... *shudder shudder*

Completely agree. I dislike his 'entitled' attitude to 'his' women, but especially with Buffy. I do feel there's chemistry with Anya and Cordy.

And I'm OK with Giles/Anya but never in a million years Giles/Buffy!

Xander can do so much better than Buffy. Start a family with somebody normal, well-adjusted, successful. He should not settle.
