Such a lovely book case! I do love seeing bookcases, I like trying to spot what people have! (is that King's Rising living sad and alone without any friends there?)

Well spotted :) I love love love the Captive Prince series! I do have the other two in the trilogy, but they're on my kindle. For some reason I don't remember, I got the print copy of this one.

Thanks :D Half of the books are my hubby's -- the Tolkein and the Pratchett. I can't get on with the former, but we both enjoy the latter.

Oooh, I'm a fan of Kingsolver as well. Love her Poisonwood Bible, though it was a tough story.

You know, that is the only book of hers I've ever read, and I only picked it up because of the science connection (it's about climate change). But I was so incredibly impressed by it. The prose is just beautiful, and yet, every word is chosen with care. I should definitely check out her other words one day.

I... don't get out all that often, which is dreadful, but the baby doesn't particularly like her carseat so it's always a bit fraught. So your request may take a little bit of time *g* But I will see what I can do ;)
