My mother became born-again TWICE. The first time was when my parents renewed their wedding vows at her behest, and the second time was shortly after or during the divorce. When she became born-again (again) she pleaded with my father to meet with her priest to talk about getting the marriage annulled.

I think mothers can be the best for us... or fuck us up the most. We have a somewhat mutual friend whose mother took off to chase tail in Iowa while she (friend) was still in HS.

Then there's me, whose mother died when I was 8... and I haven't forgiven her for that.

Well, more or less have now...

But being a mother is what keeps my drive going - when I was paralyzed and the doctors thought I was just going to die... or at least never walk again... I didn't accept that as an answer cause my baby girl (she was a little over 1 at the time) had to have a mother. Determination, faith (in God), and sheer will got me walking again in less than a month.

I prayed that I didn't want my little girl to go without her mother like I did, and the strength just came out of nowhere (well, I give God the credit on that one.

Anyway, glad you had a cathartic release it seems.

You say that like being put in a sack of kittens is a bad thing. I guess if they're all claws out that would be bad. AND MAYBE IF THEY WERE LION KITTENS.
