I was thinking, if The-N ever cancels Degrassi,
surely the channel will go down the-drain.

The-N won't have its backbone supporting it anymore.
So I doubt they'll ever cancel it

but Degrassi has to end sometime, right? it's already on season 8

So when Degrassi finally ends, do you think The-N will flop?

I think that The-N Would have done just fine if they hadn't cancelled great shows like Instant Star, South of Nowhere and The Best Years. But since all of that is gone and they're playing re-runs of Fresh Prince and stuff then yes. I think they are totally going to flop.
They need to bring back they're original shows and I don't mean that Queen Bees and Student Body stuff either. Those show is weak!

yeah, that's what im thinking.
but i mean...if it gets enough younger viewers, it might survive. kind of like how we all think nickelodeon sucks now compared to our time, ya know? you just attract a new generation.

If Degrassi ends, that'll just be one less show producing new episodes on the network and probably another TeeNick show added to fill a timeslot.

I mean degrassi is like the main thing on the n so who knows what will happen to the n when degrassi ends if it ever ends

Degrassi is The N's main show. It gets the most advertisement and promotion over any other show, so the network will definitely start to go down (more than it is already) when the show ends. It could've done fine if they didn't get rid of South of Nowhere, Instant Star, Beyond the Break, The Best Years, and Whistler. They had alot of shows as backup for when Degrassi finally ended, but now it's the only original show.
