Smashing stuff matey. Never been to Edinburgh but it sounds like my kind of place... a cultural mishmash of a city with the overall appearance and history of a sort of 'York on steroids'.

Anyway. Good stuff, you're doing well not going irreversably insane whilst living in London. London scares me less and less each time I visit, but I know full well that it's just lulling me into a false sense of security. *looks around suspiciously*

Edinburgh is very much like York on steroids. The old town is just great. It made both me and Ang feel like moving there as soon as we saw it.

London ain't that bad once you realise its not really a city in the sense of Leeds, Manchester etc its more a series of small towns that run into each other and connected by a very good transport system. Once I realised this and that it wasn't all urban ghetto I felt a lot better.

Also so you both know - Jonesing - A verb to "Johnes" = to confuse northeners with well establised english slang.

Anway how is life in Skipton, anything happened in the last six months.
