I've seen a lot of people mention that show and I know nothing about it. So what's your overall opinion on it? Is it something I should seek out or let it pass me by?
what the hell kind of name is "Little Darlings" for a strip club? That's just creepy.
It's even creepier when the girls strip to the song "Lollipop".

Overall? I enjoy it. I mean, I'm sometimes wanting to yell at the screen "That doesn't work that way!" over some of the utterly unrealistic things that they do, but for the most part I'm having fun. Considering that there are only about five shows on TV that I watch these days, the fact that it's one of them is pretty indicative. It's not brilliant or powerful storytelling or anything like that, but it's worth watching. I've talked about it previously here and here.
I think Burn Notice is a better show, however.

LOL! Seriously, with a name like that it sounds like Little Orphan Annie and Lil' Debbie from the snack food packages work there because they're down on their luck. (And since you made me think of that song, now it's stuck in my head again.)

-Futurama is back! It's been a bit hit and miss, tho.
I agree with you about Futurama. New episodes have been very hit or miss so far. If they don't start to improve I might start feeling like it never should have been un-canceled.
-I've kind of been on the hunt for things to watch lately.
Roxy might tell you differently, but try watching Warehouse 13. It's fun and goofy science fiction that doesn't take itself too seriously, but still has interesting plots and characters.
-This trailer (practically a short film!) for Star Wars: The Old Republic is pretty awesome.
That looks amazing. This might be the one game that makes me break my "No MMOs" rule.
Of course, the game itself, being an MMO, with have none of the visual prowess or excitement that trailer promises, but hey, who cares with a trailer that pretty? *eyeroll*Yeah, that is a shame, but it would slow the game down drastically if the in game graphics were that high quality ( ... )

Yeah, it hasn't been bad. This last one was quite gripping... didn't want to put it down. It's still very frustrating that no one calls Daala on her shit, tho.

I wouldn't have though it was possible to despise Zap Brannigan any more than I already did, but it was.
I just hope it doesn't devolve into random, plotless gross-outs like Family Guy.

A friend of mine was telling me about that. Sounded kind of interesting.
On a side note... you've seen Eureka 7, right? Is it any good?
And yes that trailer was very pretty.
Very pretty, but largely irrelevant except for showing us the setting. I just wish game trailers did a better job of showing us what the game was actually like.
(Since when do Jedi do the Kamehameha?)
Yeah... Can you say ( ... )

I haven't watched the full thing, maybe half of it, but I was liking the ideas, the characters, and the giant robot fights. it just grew too long for me to keep watching at the time. I wish I could give you a better review or recommendation, but it's been a while since I've seen it.
If it affects your opinion at all, I did read and enjoy the full manga series it was based on.

Well, that is why most games have a "theatrical" trailer and a game-play trailer. It just looks like they've decided to go over the top with theatrical trailers for now.

LOL. I was thinking the same thing myself.

Wikipedia says 50 episodes long, so about twice as long as most. Not unreasonably long, however... I could do 50.
I've been trying to find new things to watch, and Eureka Seven has crossed my mind, but I wanted to ask somebody who'd seen it.

That is really helpful to know, actually. Manga/anime adaptations are usually pretty faithful.

Game trailers and ads have been getting very elaborate in recent years. Halo 3 even had one with live-action battle scenes. But a big battle scene is a pretty good example of what playing Halo is like whereas MMOs are... not this exciting.
