Since I last posted in this thing, I've joined the executive board of my union, sat at the bargaining table, gamemastered two Pathfinder campaigns at once, and started plotting a scifi novel.

Hey, you! Welcome back! Was wondering what you were up to. I'm also working on some fiction, writing my first short story in five years. Well, revising now, to submit to an anthology.

Cool! My current project was originally intended to be a short story that I could submit to Asmiov's or something, but when I was creating the outline it got waaaaaay too long for that, so... novel it is. I might try another, simpler idea for a short story after this.

Five years ago? Hmmm... would that have been the one about the girl who shoots a random guy, just to see what it feels like?

It has turned into something of a ghost town around here. I still lurk now and then, but haven't been active in a very long time. I look forward to your posts. And hey, maybe you'll inspire me. I've been sitting on an unfinished original story for years.

Hey! Long time no see! This is a pleasant surprise. I didn't think you were still hanging around here. :-)

Even if I never get anything published, I'm glad to be writing again. This idea has been occupying my thoughts for almost a year, and I don't want it to fade and be forgotten.
