i agree. great book. surprised that you're surprised about his and the bandmates' drug habits. nearly half of their songs are about drugs or makes references to drugs. frusciante left the band originally due to drugs.

if you thought kiedis had it bad, check out johnny depp's documentary of john frusciante's house.

I was surprised only I didn't know Kiedis carried on using for that long after he quit the first time.
