Why Drought
I usually see Narcissa as a very strong personality where she is more of a trophy wife here. This is early in her marriage though and perhaps things changed over time.
What I do adore about this tale is that it isn't just PWP, there is a lot of plot and machinations. Severus and his relationship with Lucius Malfoy, hints of DE intrigue and UST with a hot payoff!
