If you're wanting to lose the bodyfat I think you probably want something aerobic, like running, or swimming. Things like running and basketball are good because you don't need to spend money (well besides the ball for basketball and trying to find people to play with). In terms of muscle tone if you can't afford a gym my mate Bart swears by bodyweight exercise http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Bodyweight_exercise as you use your own bodyweight to train you can do it anywhere and any time. Cheap and Cheerful.
Spider, you're being rediculous. I bet to anyone else you look fine!! Anything really small is noticable to ourselves, but to the outside world we dont even notice. Dont worry!
I'm sure come July 1st there'll be a hundred offers from people to carry heavy boxes from one house in hyde park to another house in a similar area as is always the way on student moving day... We could have a training montage music in the background it'd be well good!
Seriously though, I kinda know how you feel. I've put on a stone in the past two months and I feel disgusting but people have been saying I look healthier. I'm sure your weight gain is barely noticeable to the outsider, but I also know that makes no odds to how you feel about yourself.
Get yourself out for a quick run and do plenty of sit ups and you'll be reet! Dunno if you're into Badminton, but me and neil have been talking about going to have a game sometime, I'm sure you'd be welcome to come along and play if you fancied it? We also have somehow acquired a basketball at our house (I think some reprobate stole it from a small child), so we could always get a few people together and go play.
Badminton would be ace. Please let me know if you do go play. I'm off to look after my kids for a fortnight but after that lots of playing in the park shall be arranged. Love and lollipops. xxxx
