So... My residence hall is pretty much infamous for it's excessive fire drills. Well, they're not really drills... The fire alarms are sensitive, os if someone burns popcorn, the thing will probably go off, forcing 19 floors worth of people to cram into two little stairwells and stand outside for a half an hour waiting for your floor to be called ( Read more... )

I think every dorm has ridiculous fire alarms. I know at least 3 on my campus (2 of which I lived in) went off ALL the time.

Fire alarms are teh suck. It's ridiculous how easy you can get them to go off.

And also? Best part about college is laughing at the drunk people. It was Thursday night entertainment to watch them stagger back to the dorms from the bars downtown.

I had that happen to me my freshman year. It was either November or December and freezing outside. It went off at 3 in the morning and being from Phoenix didn't think about it, and went outside in gym shorts, a t-shirt, and sandals. To say the least I was cold. Moral of the story, put warm clothes on before you go outside for a fire alarm.
