I have to admit my Oranje knowledge is severely lacking, but I was very disappointed to hear Ruud's not going.

Well, we have to see what happens.

Yeah *sigh* It feels like the end of an era, really, this WC. No Ruud, no Totti, no Ronaldinho...

I'm with you on the Ruudje disappointment, if he's fit to play, I think he should have gone. I understand the desire to give promising young players WC experience (I'm sure I drew the Theo Walcott analogy with you before) but it sucks when it's at the expense of others who deserve a place.

Like sophiamoon said, we'll just have to see what happens.
