I didn't see the match, so I can't comment on individual performances, but I'm very glad to hear the defence sounds solid as I remember that as a weakness during the Euro.

A bit concerned Gio didn't feature, is he going to be fit in time? Also, who's captain when he doesn't play?

Gio should be fit in time, he was on the bench on Wednesday and looked relatively happy, with no support around his knee that I could see. In his absence Rafael was captain, and then Johnny when Raf was substituted.
