I like the irony of using celebrities to promote education.

"Kids! Sit through your dull education and then go and sit at a desk... just like I didn't!"

Although to be fair, they often need considerable education before not sitting behind a desk. Professional athletes need to maintain minimum GPAs at the college level, and often get degrees in business, which helps them invest their disgusting salaries. Many actors have college educations.

(Please note the qualifiers.)

More amusing, I think, is in the pre-release (barely) of Obama's speech, where he tells kids they're not going to make it as rappers or basketball players, so they shouldn't even bother, and discover a cure for cancer instead. (Yes, I know that's not quite what he said.)
