Very well done.

It looks like the original may have been overexposed somewhat, but you have done exactly the right things with it. The detail shows up in the right places, across the upper part of the face, and in the armor.

The energy of the pose is right, and makes me forget there was someone with a camera involved. I like the overall composition too.

Amazing.
You picked a good tone, the right lighting. Maybe a little more gold in it would be good, instead of standard sepia? (Not that I really know what I'm talking about so you can, of course ignore me.)
Was he standing intrees when you tooks this? I get that impression by some of the shadows falling on the right side of his face and shoulder.
So like I said at the beginning, amazing.

Where's mine?
-grin-

Yeah, you do need to start a line...hehe...

I agree with Dryad on the gold tones, but that's rather hard to pick out in PS.

Hey, I've got nice one of Dryad you can bum. You want that one picture I was thinking of for Skalds to play with? Granted, I'm not dressed up as Iris at the time, but still...

What program do you use, robot? I'm getting my computer up tonight and need to pick up some photo software.
