Looking for a little feedback on this photoshop project. This is my first swing at it, might go back to the virtual drawing board a few more times.

*For those that know the image, I'm intending to put the 3 runes under the flame layer

The swoed looks good, but it seems out of proportion to the hand that is holding out.

The thing that stands out for me is the hand, too. Not so much the scale, but the fact that it's a blurry boring hand. It breaks the suspension of disbelief, and lacks the sharpness and clarity of the photoshopped portion of the image.

Yeah this was a direct cause of me saying "Miranda hold this sword up so I can take a picture of it...I've got an idea!"

Its something I will be taking out in later versions of this picture. I also need more lighting, because the shadow the sword and arm made layering a pain in that ass. Thanks for the comment!

The handle of the sword is god awful. Its a thick wooden handle. Its the standard QoH general sword.

(wow for crappy computer errors...you might have got like 5,000 mails saying i replied to your comment)

I'm not a fan of this whole image. The fire itself is going in the wrong direction. Judging by the hand it's just holding the sword in a static position and yet the flames of the fire are pointing downward? Fire should be ablaze from the tip of the sword and reaching for the sky. Unless you are trying to have a motion shot in which I would think the handle of the sword would be more in line with the arm giving that feel that the sword is an extension of the sword.

There you have it, my nit pickings.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm planning on shooting the sword straight up and down, with flames carrying up both sides. See above comments regarding the arm.
