empty questions

i remember asking stupid, empty questions. The most interesting and inane posed to me recently were, in order, "what animal do you like most, and why..." and, "What body of water do you like most, and why?"

I remember when we asked questions that meant nothing and revealed everything, as opposed to these.

predator? carnivore? Maybe both, but recognize the difference. The predator hunts what is her natural prey, and the prey is happy to fulfill the ultimate role of their niche.

I will eat meat; it will nourish my body, and I shall be grateful to those less fortunate creatures that have gone before me to no discernible end other than nourishment of a selfish, greedy, insolent bastard.

Call me any number of things and I will smile, canines and bicuspids dripping blood, the meat of your family between my molars and morals.

This is not poetry, this is anger. Hypocrite? Wannabe? I will meet you where neither of us are and I will destroy you with my very being.

Welcome to reality.
