I'm not sure how it's technically possible to identify with Vader and C3P0 at the same level. Leave it to the oriental...

Not surprising, given the fact that Yoda is the epitome of 'hippy'. In fact, it is my distinctive belief (meaning no one else agrees) that Yoda was once a simple human tree hugger. But given time and mastery of the Force, he developed chloroplasts and therefore the ability to photosynthesize. Hence the green skin. And the small stature and large ears? Ever really looked and an old person? Now extrapolate several hundred years.

I also belive the Emperor is undergoing a similar change, but simply not as far along.
