yeah yeah, i know i haven't updated in like a week. it seems like i've been so busy, but the funny thing is now that i stop and think about it i'm not exactly sure what i did for a week. i have worked every day--last night was my first day off in over a week so my friends and i went out for dinner and ice cream. i saw the notebook over the weekend

your endearing tale about your cyst reminded me about MY cyst. well i had a cyst, nearly TEN YEARS AGO TO THE DAY. well it was 4th grade august but yeah, it was on my neck and then they found a blood clot but i got lots and lots of presents and toys. maybe you'll be showered with toys too?

well i don't know if you can call Notre Dame anything like the "real world" because it is so sheltered and stuff and so NOT most of the time, but i think i know what you mean about it. like now when i talk to friends here i have a lot less reservations, because, come on? what is there to hide? i am not thinking about those high school popularity contests/gossip chains, and i think i've realized that now is as good of a time as any to just lay it all out. I certainly don't want to be fakish all of my life!
oh and i bet you will have a blast at Red River Canyon. Just observe and stuff w/ a sense of humor, and think of all the stories you will have to tell to us about it!
