Left behind a spouse who hates change and rural living to do it, too. Difference: It wasn't a person I love, but a family, a philosophy and an idea. Becoming part of something greater than one's Self is not submission and loss of the isolate integrity of that Self, sometimes it's a chance to strengthen and grow.
