I love the style of these icons, especially the last 40 or so icons! ^^ What programs do you use, and do you have a link to a tutorial for this style? I use Paint Shop Pro 8, and I know you probably use gradients, color layers, and a brush for the diagonal lines (which I have), but I can never get the colors and the brightness the way I want them to no matter how much I play with the opacity. =/
The general style, like in #70 for example. I know you probably use an orange layer, but what do you set the layer to? And does it depend on the colors of the main image, or do you greyscale that main image first?
I have a few orange layers on it, actually, and some blue/green/pink ones too, depending on which icon. ;) And I don't greyscale any of my icons. Even with the manga ones, I colourize them first. The colour of the main image matters, mostly if I want to bring out one tone or another, but, for the most part, they're around the same tones. Because I like orange. x3
I'm not so sure I can make a tutorial for 70, though, because I didn't save the PSD file, so I'll have to see if I remember which gradients and such I used for it. If I can recreate it I'll make one. :3

Did you have any icon in mind, or just the general style?
