Thanks to my friend
mermaiden I have been prompted to update on the minor events:
1. The Two Fat Ladies have gone back to the farm, their paddock has been slashed and I needed the yard for Bella. Why? Well....
2. Bella injured her eye! Yep, once again I have started the year with vet bills in January!! History is repeating itself.
So anyway, I noticed last weekend Bella had a swollen eye, with loads of gunk. SO bathed it for a couple of days to clean it and discovered her pupil had gone all "milky", like a blindness. So Arnold (one of my handsome vets) came up to the farm, assessed the eye and recommened 2-3 treatments PER DAY of antibiotic eye ointment for five days minimum. I am NOT driving to Seville 2-3 times everyday - no way.
So the fatties had to go and Bells came home with Cinn and the baby Echo. It was a good opportunity to do some halter training with Echo, too. And it gave me the chance I needed to worm her.
It was Echo's first time in the float and first time in the yard. And it all came to a horribly soggy end on the last day when it was literally pouring with rain and I got held up by roadworks and my three girls (Bel, Echo and Cinn) had to stand in my trailer in the drenching rain.
But Echo travelled well and now they are all back together doing what herd horses do naturally.
And Bella's eye is fine - thank god! Bloody appaloosas! Ooops! I mean "Darling little spotted sweetie"
Thats enough for now, my typing thumb hurts LOL
