I hope everyone had a great 4th of July! I know I certainly did. Most of the day we just kinda sat around and did nothing which was great. In the evening we had the Stembergers over for dinner and fireworks

haha that's pretty cool....but yeah you should bring them if we do have the sod laying stuff bc i wanna see one haha (i'm so thoughtful of everyone else)
Yeah, I'll bring 'em. I was really suprised with how big they are considering they came in one of those $30 assorted packs of fireworks. I was like "Um, are these suposed to be in here?" Aight, see ya this afternoon.
you know steven how you asked us about our neiborhood and our fireworks and I said I did not really know.......well when we came home there was so much smoke every where and they they had them going all night long I fell asleep to the sound of them going off it was really crazy
Yeah after you guys left we had a second wave of big mortars go off in our neighborhood. I think it may have been bigger than the ones when you guys were here. Crazy South Daytona...I love it :-)
we saw fireworks last night as we were flying into orlando. it was pretty cool, cause they all looked really itsybitsy. The fireworks on Canada Day were really spectacular, enhanced by the fact that we were watching them from the top of a steep hill bundled up in layers of sweaters.
they were amazing. everyone sang the canadian anthem as they were going off, and Tim asked us if we sing the American anthem as ours goes by... and we don't, which seems kind of sacrilegious when i think about it

boys and explosives are always a realy scary combination.........
one of the mac's neighbors had this long thing of fire crackers it was like 2,000 or something and it went on forever and ever.
and we had this cool ones that lit up green and spun around in the sky.
it was really cool going to the PO fireworks too, we hadn't gone somewhere to see fireworks in forever. and we got in and outta there really fast on the "boat train" as hayley calls it.
I wish I got to explode something this year, but I didn't. Instead we went out on our boat and watch the Ormond fireworks show from the river. It's so calm and cool out there, and we were only about 100 feet from the barge! It's our 4th of July tradition; the day wouldn't be the same without our boat excursion!
