My week so far...

I thought I'd surprise you all and actually update again. This week Aaron and I have been hangin' out at the Slingo's house while Mark and Debbie are out of town. It's been pretty cool because Aaron and Jordan have been working the days I don't work so I've had the house to myself (Well me and the dog have been sharing it). I've just been ( Read more... )

why laugh at the dying bugs? britesidethesun June 8 2006, 15:02:53 UTC
your posts are generally so political.
but I guess thats just reflective of you.

If I had the slingo's house all to myself...I think I would roll down that hill and skip across the backyard.
then go on the back porch and sing a song at the top of my lungs.
and then go sit at their piano and hope that some of Jordan's genuis vibes rub off on me as I touch the keys......
What if I could play like Jordan after just playing his piano?

I laughed at the dead bug because it looked like he knew what was coming (Sage) and so he just took his own life before he got there. I mean it really looked like he decided enough was enough and he jumped one last time. If I had a camera I would show you how funny/sad it looks.

Yeah, well if playing that piano gave you Jordan's skills then I would be pretty good by now. I've messed around a little with it this week. :D He was playing he other night just because he kinda walked into that room. I was pretty much amazed at how good he is (as if I wasn't already).

Whoa, you thought of me after seeing Glenn Beck? I don't know whether to feel pleased or creeped out. We do have similar tastes in humor and stuff. His new TV show is pretty funny. Tonight they're supposed to be making fun of Zarqawi most the show.

Yeah, didn't you want to dance, shout and pass candy out to children at the news of Zarqawi's death? They found him because some of the local Iraqi people tipped off our guys along with intel from the Jordanian government. Then we scrambled two F-16s to drop a couple of 500 pounders on him.

A new all natural insecticide - I shall call it "Sage" poetic_prosejd June 8 2006, 20:16:35 UTC
When you were describing the canine-inflicted insect massacre, I thought about the time you came over and mowed the yard and there were hundreds of baby frogs jumping for their lives. Little frog bits fertilized our lawn quite well. hehe, the grasshopper story made me laugh. :)

Isn't it fun to house sit?? If I had the Slingo's house I would definitely run around their backyard, and play the piano loudly (and poorly!), and teach Sage to bring me sodas from the fridge. Their house is definitely a comfortable reading house - I'd like, read for hours, switching rooms to make it interesting. Hope yall have fun for the rest of the time!

Oh my goodness I nearly forgot about that. I pretty much am the frog slayer. There were waves of frogs jumping from the path of the mower. For some reason "puppy slayer" gets more of a reaction from people. ;-)

I have certainly had fun here. Sage and I have ran around a few times. It's been fun. Unfortunatly tomorrow is our last day here.

You have a safe trip. I hope to talk to you SOON.
