I would just like to say that Certain Folks In LA really shouldn't be blaiming Us for their own blind spots, okay?

We can't be bending like, all the rules, to just -tell- them what to do. Being the good guys means exercising that free will (and yes, you do have some) and doing it the right way.

...bloody hell, Connor, We went all MANIFESTATION on ( Read more... )

We can't be bending like, all the rules, to just -tell- them what to do.

If you'll forgive an impertinent question, I feel compelled to ask: why not?

As I'm sure you know, I've been fighting evil for quite some time now. And there's one question I've never been able to satisfactorily answer: what purpose does the fight serve? To clarify, I'm not stating that I think struggling against evil is pointless, but rather wondering why the struggle needs to be waged at all. If you truly are an omnipotent deity, and can alter reality to your will, why then is it necessary to let this bloody contest between humans and demons continue? Why not step in and arrange things so that pain, suffering, and death is minimized, or even eliminated entirely?

Any insight you can give would be appreciated.

(Pause here for attempt at translation of very bad English, though I know not if this is bad English due to English as a second language or what.)

So what you are saying is that "The Evils That Be," as the opposite of "The Powers That Be," is hands-on in causing bad things to happen, while TPTB is not as hands-on in keeping bad things from happening or causing good things to happen.

[This, of course, is as it should be, since TPTB does the right thing (interfering as little as possible) and TETB would not.]

I still can make no sense out of the last part. It appears to be random words.
