Chase tenses, jaw setting as he grips at his clipboard. "I'm damn good at my job and you're lucky I don't take a personal approach to my work." If he did, there's a chance Dignam would suddenly need a few painful and invasive tests. "Some of our patients are stupid enough to need obvious questions." And one look at the man would make almost anyone assume this is one of those situations, he adds silently.

"Don't call me a pretty boy," he snaps.

Dignam snorts at that. "Got an aversion, pretty boy? I'm in a fuckton of pain here. Really don't care if you're pissed off. You better than Lisa?" Except at blowjobs.

"'Lisa'? On a first-name level with the Dean of Medicine?" Chase raises an eyebrow at the thought. "I can see you're in pain. I might be a little more inclined to help you out with that if you don't piss me off." He'll still tend to Dignam, but he won't be in a rush to do so. "Just don't call me that, all right?"
