Oh hah hah! Sorry, I've just had so many references in my head since I've been doing a database project for the Rage card game (based on Werewolf: the Apocalypse) by going through all my W:tA books. But I think I know why Nihilistic sounds so familiar to me:
They made the Vampire: The Masquerade -- Redemption game for White Wolf.
See, Nihilistic had a World of Darkness counterpart through the fictional Pentex company, Tellus, as Fatalistic. As well as the game company that never published the Werewolf: the Apocalypse PC game: Heart of Gaia. Which made it so White Wolf never lent out it's licenses to other companies. By the way, that's still a sore subject with W:tA fans.
My problem is that this is a company not known for doing platformers. More like action, online, or team up kind of games. Not to mention, I remember Conan not really getting good reviews. So hopefully, they get the game right in their first try.
