Although the reverse is also regrettably true. Despite the many online resources available for the debunking of urban myths; most of my office would rather believe the people with no surnames, who warn them by email of impossible dangers.

Well this will come as no surprise since you should know how ignorant I am about such things, but...

I knew about the invasion in 1066 but don't ask me many details about it, and I've never heard of Stanford Bridge and have no clue where it is.

Just an FYI... perhaps those DJs had as inspiring teachers & textbooks as I did....

The problem you are having is a very common one. It is a problem I often have myself.

The way to deal with it, at least certain aspects, is to remember that certain people are cretins and while you are infuriated by there behaviour at least you aren't them.

Chris Moyles knows nowt and would never admit he know's nowt he has an ego the size of a small moon and for this reason I don't listen to the show.

I agree about the internet but the problem with allowing anyone to have there say is... everyone gets to have there say.

The BBC is not in a good way, facts-wise, these days in so far as I can tell.

But what would I know? I'm just a voluminous carrot in espadrils.
