Wow, sweetie! This was amazing, and something I wish we would get so darned much! I really, really loved it and would love to see you take it further. Tim needs so badly to be reminded that he's loved, that he still has a family to come home to. Because, that's the problem, Bruce may be back but in Tim's heart he doesn't feel it. Tim has still never come 'home'.

One teeny thing, though. Earlier you mentioned that Bruce has on sweats and at the end you mention the texture of his jeans. Did he change during the lost minutes that Tim has?

Thanks so much for sharing this. :)

Oh! Good catch! I think what happened was, I wrote this is two parts, with a month break in between and I didn't analytically read the first part before starting with the second. Woops?

I'll fix that right away! Thanks!

And I agree with everything you said. Tim... he's been put through the ringer, and really, all the kid needs is just a little stability.

Thanks for reading, love. Glad you liked it!

Hrm. Maybe it sounds familiar because I posted the first part back in September on my tumblr? I hope that's what it is, because if it sounds like something someone else wrote, I really would like to know. :| I didn't mean for it to sound like anyone's story.

Bruce and Tim are my favorites. I just love them both so much and their interactions together just... I just find them so fascinating. So much can be understood from what they *don't* say, you know? It means a lot to me that you think I do them both justice. <3

I'm so happy you liked this! Thank you for reading!

You write Bruce and Tim so wonderfully together. I so loved this, Tim is just so lost right now and Bruce is determined to give him a safety net.

And that last line is just perfect.

Wow, that made me really, really sad, because even though I know Bruce sees the hope and is trying his best... it looks so hopeless to Tim. And there was the contrast between what Bruce was trying to communicate with his words, and what Tim saw in those words.

WOnderful emotional sucker-punch right there. I loved Tim's thoughts and his hyperventilation.

Oh man - yesss. I can see where Bruce is coming from. He wants to protect Tim. Wants to minimize any potential damages and Tim is very fragile right now. He's... been through a lot.

But Tim. All he hears is that he's being fired again. That he's losing something again. That he's not good enough. Again.

I'm so glad you liked this, love. Thanks for reading!!!
