Basics
Name; Rochelle
Age; 14. Are there any other 14 year olds here? :/
Birthday; June 25.
Location; Denver, Colorado.
Relationship Status; Contently single.
Favorites
Band; At the moment, My Chemical Romance, Anti-Flag, Boys Night Out, and Against Me! I kind of have a wierd music taste, I mostly like "alternative". (I hate how pretentous that sounds)
Movie; Either The Virgin Suicides or Grind. The Virgin Suicides is a favorite because I love dreamy strange books or movies and then Grind because it was something I saw on my friend's birthday and the thought of it brings make many great memories and laughter.
Disney Movie; The Aristocats. That movie made me want to get cats when I was little.
TV Show; I don't watch much TV, but I have to admit I am a fan of the cheesy dramatic show Degrassi. It's so lame but I love it.
Old School Nickelodeon Show; Pete and Pete. I was in love with older brother Pete in fifth grade, he was so geeky and cool at the same time. And I told my mom I wanted to marry him and he could wear his band uniform, I was such a little wierdo. w, I miss that show.
Book; The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chobosky. A really interesting and captivating book. Charlie is my favorite character in any book I have ever read. Although if I met him in real life I think I would want to yell at him for crying so much. And another book that I love is Echo by Francesca Lia Block. The book has a very dreamy atmosphere and Francesca has such a unique and beautiful way of writing.
Song; "Lover I Don't Have to Love" by Bright Eyes. I've become a very recent fan of Bright Eyes. I am in love with the lyrics and the rythm of the song.
CD; Anti-Flag - Mobilize. Very awesome CD with some actual meanings to the songs. I get sick of hearing songs about love and going to a party, not saying that I never listen to those CD's and I hate them because I don't because I do, but sometimes its good to hear something with a little more substance. Plus Anti-Flag is just an awesome band.
Food/Drink; For food I love to go to this place called Mongolian Barbeque. Best stir-fry ever. For drink blue koolaid is my number one.
Color; Bright green. Not the green that is neon and glows and kills your eyeballs. Just the vibrant green. Like the green converse which I own a love to peices.
Quote/Lyric/Whatever; "You don't know Jungle Love? That shit is the mad notes." That's just one of the many stupid/funny things said in the movie Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.
Views
Abortion; I'm pro-choice. I think its up to whoever is pregnant to decide if they want the child or not. I think its wrong to constantly get pregnant and then get abortions every time but for people who can't afford a child or are rape victims I think the choice should be there for them.
Drugs; I'm not a fan of the harder drugs because they don't really do anything but mess you up and pot isn't my thing either but I saw do what you want to. Its your body and you can inject/inhale whatever you want.
Same-sex Relationships; I'm all for it. I think love shouldn't be about what's between your legs. Period.
Religion; I'm not particularly religious. I used to be all "omg I'm so cool I'm anti-religion" and that was one of the stupid phases I went through. Now I'm just accepting of everthing. I don't believe in an assigned god but I don't find it to be a problem that anyone else does. Believe what you want.
Suicide; Is a big no-no. Yeah life gets tough but I don't honestly think that there is no way you can improve it if you try hard enough.
Mainstream/MTV/Etc.; I really don't care about it. I watch MTV for entertainment, the music isn't my thing but its just another TV channel who cares?
Questions
Describe yourself in one sentence; Rochelle is a quirky, outgoing kid who likes to tackle hug and brush her teeth.
What is your dream occupation?; All I know is I want it to be is something to do with art. Art is a passion of mine and I think any long term occupation should be enjoyable.
Who do you admire most?; My sister Rhiannon. I admire how she's managed to change her life around in a matter of months without losing who she is. She used to be a bad kid and then she didn't go to collage and never got a job. But out of no where she decided that was BS and got a job, applied for collage and is doing really well in life.
If you had the opportunity to have dinner with anybody, dead or alive, who would it be and why?; I know it sounds cheesy but my best friend. She moved last year to Missouri and I haven't seen her since. We communicate through 21 page letters but I miss her a lot. I would love to be able to just hang out and get some fries at Mcdonalds and just talk about everything. And we would go to Mcdonalds because we think cheap food tastes better.
Would you dance with me?; Only if you know how to tango!
Extra
Why do you want to be part of this community?; I saw in the profile of __idigmygrave and decided to join it.
What makes you rad enough to be considered one of the raddest?;Yesterday I heard my mom proclaim to my neighbor that I have an underwear fetish. Today I came home to a new pair of underwear and a wine bottle. (The wine was for my mom) So I must be rad because of my underwear fetish and gifts of cool underwear from neighbors.
Picture Goes Here [optional. and absolutely NO nudity.]; Don't have any recent pictures and my old one make me gag. Sorry folks.
This is long, meep. Hope you enjoy it?
