actually, I have a lot of respect for Jon Favreau. Hes made some damn good movies and starred in way more. I think he can play off the colorful fantasy level that Iron Man needs to survive, as well as making Tony Stark an ass. I know I haven't read Iron Man comics in years but from what I remeber I think he could very well be perfect for it.

i will say one thing about Iron Man...

it needs to be more a character study, than an all out actioner.

focus on his drinking, womanizing, etc.
