my advice would be, just try out churches (or temples if you want to try that too) and find the one you like. I'm sure there are some in your area and I know there are plenty in lowell.

temples? At this stage of the game, I'd be willing to try standing stones! Church first, though...I wonder when the local episcopal church has services during the week?
