The Cuff-links of a Royal

My obsession with history and antiques has led me to a recent auction of royal memorabilia in which I purchased this lovely pair of Art Deco cuff-links (circa 1930).  These cuff-links are 18K yellow gold with emerald green, white, and gold enamel, which feature the initials "A W" under a coronet.  They once were the property of Alastair Author ( Read more... )

Well I'm jealous...but you already knew that.
We have an antique fair in the S.F. Bay Area, but because it's California they seem to think that anything pre 1980 is antique and most of what we get is a lot of 40's 50's and 60's kitsch

Cheers Gregory, if I ever run into any amazing cuff-links which I'm not going after I'll be sure to pass them along to you. The best antique's fair I've come across was in London at the Olympia Antique Fair. If you ever get a chance then fly on over and I can guarantee you that you'll find some nice links.
