I loved this so much. The beginning was sweet and adorable, but then the part at the end where Dean goes to Jack when he's having nightmares again made me tear up. Seeing Dean being so tender (and parent-y!) is everything. <3

I can't tell you how much I love this. EVERY SINGEL WORD OF THIS! Especially the soft and caring side of Dean. Parent Dean is as adorable as the caring big brother he always was and always will be.
And last lines - Jack's trust in Dean - the Little gesture Dean stroking Jacks hair ... oh dear, you had me from th e beginning to the end.

Aww, thank you so very very much, my lovely *hugs you even closer* I'm so very happy that you like this one, and my portrayal of Dean's parental qualities, and yes being Sam's big brother definitely plays such a big part in who he would be as a parent. I think Dean is inherently a giver and a protector, and living their lives he doesn't always get the opportunity to let that side of himself show, but when he does let someone into his heart, then yeah. And Jack needs more physical comfort!! He deserves all the love and hugs!! And both Sam and Dean are going to give him that *clutches shiny little parental bubble* lol ♥♥♥♥
