For all the talk in Alberta of people being tired of nearly forty years of Tory governments, they seem to have done a remarkable job of electing Conservatives tonight. The count's still coming in, but at this point the Tories have not only won, but they've increased their majority by about eight to ten seats.
Look - if I go to put laundry in a machine and find shit in it a) that's really nasty, b) clean up your mess, and c) umm... I don't think that your clothes are clean.
I swear, the universe is itching to get me into an accident. In less than twelve hours, I've nearly ended up embedded in a van... twice

It's so cold out there that my clutch was sticking - it took about two seconds from when my foot left the clutch for the pedal to pop back up - made for a fun drive.
It's really bad out there. It took me 17 minutes to get from work to home, and the only reason it took so little time was I started taking side streets to avoid the traffic. I figured that this was a good idea when it took 6 minutes to go from Albert to Hazel along Columbia - 6 minutes.
I'm home, I have food, and I'm going nowhere tonight.
