I was in a store that sells stereotypical "girly" stuff. The store is an upscale store with wooden shelves with gold trim and pink and white striped wall paper. It sells make up, perfume, and kidskin notebooks.
I was there with some snobby girls who I don't know in real life. Somehow, I felt the need to humor them or blend in. That made me uncomfortable. So, I walked away and browsed the shelves on my own.
I tried the make up samples on the back of my hand, but they all smeared/melted away. The worst was the blue eyeshadow with silver sparkles - it's thick like nail polish and did not feel good. I then played with the perfumes, but I couldn't smell anything. The notebooks held my attention for a while. They were beautiful with unique cover designs. I really WANTED one, but I figured I already have way too many and I really don't NEED a $60 notebook. I peeked over the shelves and saw the girls chatting with a guy who looked like the textbook douche bag from the 80's and they were all doing that stupid giggle shit. I waited till they're done and left the store with them.
The girls were off to get ice cream, so I made an excuse and left. The street was a cobblestone street and I walked towards my dad's work place. Suddenly, dad darted out from no where and said, "I have to get to a meeting, see you later!" He ran into the building - it's a wooden/log building - that I just know is a city hall (???). He slammed the door behind him and kinda just left me there. By the looks of the guards standing at either side of the door, I know I couldn't go in, so I shrugged and walked "home". The cobblestone street slanted downhill and I can see the ocean at the end of the street. The whole place was tinted gold by the setting sun.

Second half. I was transported to this house that looks straight out of the 70's, inside and out, complete with giant wooden utensils as wall decals, shag rug, tea colored chandelier, and some nasty olive green couches. I thought to myself, damn, this place needs a serious update. It's not my place and it felt creepy. It's the afternoon and the sun is shining in through the windows, but it doesn't feel right, like shit's about to hit the fan, doomed feeling.
I walked down the hallway (wood panel walls and shag rug, ugh) and was greeted by this Johnny Depp + Ryan Gosling character (??). Something about him is creepy as hell, just like this damned house. I kinda walked through the house with him as we talked (don't remember what we talked about), then I got outta there. There's an olive green car parked in the driveway, yes, 70's style car.
That was it.
