"Are you thinking about what you're going to tell him about Rebekah?" She asked a moment later, looking at Klaus again. Funny that she wasn't asking to be a bitch or to be snotty though. She was asking as though genuinely curious and maybe even a bit concerned.

She still couldn't believe it had happened but even now she felt a hum in her blood, deep in the pit of her body, as she recalled some of the things they had done. She knew she shouldn't want more but she did. Maybe she really was as insatiable as he had called her earlier.
"How much further?" She asked, glancing over at him.

Granted, Elijah might just do it for Elena, and that thought made him scowl a bit.
When she spoke, she pulled him out of a deep reverie, and he glanced at the scenery, then the clock. "Just another twenty or thirty, maybe. We've made good time." It normally took nearly five hours, but it was only nearing four--he'd been driving fairly fast.

Glancing at the clock, she nodded while tucking some hair back from her face. She wanted to ask what they were going to tell Elijah now, if anything, but she couldn't bring herself to. She just couldn't initiate that kind of talk though she knew it was going to come up if what had happened the night before happened again.
Oh god, why was she thinking about it happening again?

There was a large part of him that wanted to see Elijah's face when he realized it, after everything.
But he didn't want to start the thing off with a fight, either. That would just make Elijah shut down. He fell silent again, driving faster as the scenery got more rugged. Eventually he turned off down a road that wound down toward the ocean, then along it for a while, before they wove through the village. He pointed out a couple of little things just of vague interest, from what he could remember of the village--Elijah would know better about it--and then drove them back out, up the cliffs.
