I just got finished talking with my mom on Skype.  Technology has it's moments.  I only get to see her in person once a year or so, and with gas prices rising or no gas to be found, my cross country trips are limited ( Read more... )

As far as I know, Memphis is okay on the gas front.

I haven't heard otherwise at least...

Sorry to hear about the troubles with gasolina. Ike really hit everyone hard in the south. I don't see anything on Gas Buddy through Google Maps... Good luck, B.

I've used Skype before on my PC. I don't have it on my Mac 'cause I've been using the video chat. That's a lot more fun. =) Sorta like talking to each other through tv.

You can video chat with Skype if you have a web cam. That's how I keep in contact with my mom and brother.

Atlanta's going through the same gas problem, I have found two real options hitting gas stations far away from freeways, and going out early in the morning (ie 2am). I know the second one doesn't sound fun, but it works.

I found a gas station today and got what I could. Going to try to fill up tomorrow before driving to my meeting. many fingers will be crossed.
