i have a question...

WHY IS IT THAT PEOPLE WHO THINK THEY ARE UGLY
ARE USUALLY NOT UGLY AT ALL????

it's all with their confidence...idk how they think they are ugly.
man o man, see what society does to people? they give you this image of what the perfect body is supposed 2 look like...that's why i hate those teen magazines.
uggh. they're all

i extremely AGREE with you. and don't you hate it how like, pretty girls always. ALWAYS say they are ugly/fat so that people can disagree with them and/or give them compliments?

beauty magazines just make you feel ugly. or make you envious.

and self confidence is the real beauty.

AMEN!

it's definitely about building self-confidence. It's so easy to judge and say, "Oh, she's gorgeous, I wish I looked like her," and then you just assume that her life MUST be easier than yours because of her "superior" looks. (You know you've thought this; I know I'VE thought this ( ... )

i have to disagree with you on some parts.

because i compliment people all the time if they are pretty or if they look good.
it's just a matter of how secure you are with yourself.

and i don't think that just because someone is pretty means that she has no problems in life. sometimes, if i know the person, i even feel sympathetic for them...because i think, "wow, she's so pretty...it's sad that she has to live her life like this."

and i somehow feel that you have been brainwashed also just by the way you said...

"But then, think about how you look when you just get outta the shower in the morning. Your hair is wet and everywhere, no makeup, you're tired and pissy, and you start ragging on yourself mentally. Even "pretty" girls must do the same. They know on some level that they ARE "pretty girls." But like everyone, they need a boost of self-confidence."

not all people do that. i don't. i've learned to accept myself and all my little flaws.

i guess it's just different from other people's perspectives.

well, I guess everyone's got their own opinions and perspectives. :)

Good for you that you do accept yourself for who and what you are! I mean it too, that's great. :)
