Word. if I had a dollar for every time I've had to walk through what I can/can't eat and that if I'm eating at your house you need to read the label on EVERYTHING before you serve it to me.

But my personal favorite went like this:

"But I rinsed the pasta! What do you mean you can't eat it?"

Well, hey, it was probably white pasta, which, ya know, is gluten free. It's not like it was whole wheat.

As for brown vs white.. I mean.. ..wait. "wheat bread"? Is that how it is called in the US? Because up here in Canada, it's called "WHOLE wheat bread". And the name is the CLUE.
