Author's Note: I didn't include a summary; everything I could think of sounded cheesy. It's a FF100 fic, centered around the idea of love at first sight. The unnamed boy is, obviously, Zach. As... yes, that's what my fic claim is.
Anna loves this song. She can close her eyes and simply listen to the music, feel it, in every fiber of her being. Her arms lift to sway along with the masses who fill the crowded club in Providence and her fingertips paint the air. She wants to leave her mark in this moment so she can remember it later. The lights are florescent blues and purples, bright and hot, making tiny beads of sweat trickle down her spine. The air is all peanuts and cheap beer. Anna is a little bit in love with this moment.
As the singer breaks for air and the instruments take the lead, she can feel the pound of the drums inside her chest as they fall into time with her heart. Her eyes open and she thinks she's seeing it all - but she isn't. In fact, Anna quite pointedly misses the boy in the corner who can't take his eyes off of her.
