Open rebellion? Not in this instance. We followed all of the proper procedures, and as I am not of the Vaizard variety, there's no ruling which states a former captain cannot once again join her former division as an officer of rank.

Of course. But Aizen doesn't need to have confirmation of rebellion to act. He already knows full well who opposes him. Yet so far, he's done nothing to respond to recent changes. It may mean something, it may not, but we should consider all the possibilities.
