The Central 46 has made its decision in the case of Fukazawa Kazuo. He will not receive the ultimate judgment, but has been sentenced to three years' imprisonment. Please forward all the pertinent paperwork to the Eighth as soon as possible, Vice-Captain Kuchiki. The sooner this matter is laid to rest, the sooner we can concentrate our efforts where they are most needed.

I do find it unfortunate we must expend time and resources on issues such as this. Thank you for your efforts all the same. It cannot have been entirely easy, if you pardon my presumption.

There's no presumption to apologize for. As difficult as it may have been for us, it's harder for Fukazawa-san. I visited him once; he didn't understand why we're not rising up against the Arrancar for what's happened.
