Stuff... it happened again.

Hey, guys. It's been awhile, huh? The kids started school and I kind of disappeared for awhile. It's been a real challenge trying to keep their schedules together, keep my grades up in college, and deal with everything else life has thrown at me. There have been some good things and some bad things. Rich and Jeweliana are doing well in school, but ( Read more... )

*waves* It occurred to me a week or so ago that you hadn't posted in a long time, and I had the intention of sending you an e-mail, but *sigh* that didn't happen. I'm glad to know therapy is going well and that you have a letter recommending HRT. I'm a bit taken aback at the doctor's ignorance, but it's entirely possible that it's just ignorance, not prejudice. So here's hoping that next time you'll get the referral that you need ( ... )

Yes, blood clots are a worse sign than cramps. I understand that it's difficult and maybe confusing to talk about, since the body you have is at odds with how you feel about yourself, but it's still what needs to be dealt with.

I'm very upfront with doctors about my symptoms, but then I get treated like a hypochondriac by some of them. (I think they discount me because I'm a woman.) Sometimes you can't win.
